How do I update user permissions?

 

If you are a super user, and have all-purpose access to the HomeViews Partner Portal, you will be able to edit your team's permissions in 3 simple steps.

 

1. Click into the User's tab on the left hand side of your portal which will bring up the list of users with any access to your company's developments

2. Click into 'Set permissions' 

3. Select or un-select the different permissions depending on what you want to grant them access to. By clicking the downwards arrow on the right, this will bring up a bigger drop down with the individual actions you can choose.

 

If you want to give someone access to 'Respond to Reviews' but still want a super-user to moderate their response, you must ensure that the review notifications are also switched on to 'all reviews'. If they do not require a super-user to moderate, ensure that 'Reply without moderation' is also ticked. 

 

In the 'Users' Section you will also be able to edit any details about the user account, (e.g. their job title) as well as delete any users that no longer work at the business and therefore no longer need access to the portal.
