The HomeViews Rating of Excellence awards recognise developments with consistently high resident reviews. They are a visible mark of excellence, helping consumers and prospective residents to instantly recognise a development's outstanding resident satisfaction, and high-quality reviews on HomeViews.
Each development’s awards appear on its page, and a summary of your company’s awards is on your company page.

How does a development qualify for an award badge?
To qualify for any HomeViews award, your development needs to have at least 10 verified reviews within the calendar year. For example, 10 verified reviews in 2025 will qualify you for the 2025 award badges.
How do I win the Rating of Excellence award?
To win the Rating of Excellence award, your development needs to have a Star Rating score of 4 out of 5 stars or above.
How do I win the category awards?
To win the individual category awards, at least 50% of your reviews for that category need to be 5 stars. For example, if 20 out of 40 reviewers score 5 stars for Design in 2025, you will win the 2025 Design Award of Excellence.
🏅 Once earned, they’re yours to keep – whilst scores may change, badges won’t be removed.
How can I see which of my developments have achieved the award badges?
To find out what awards you have won, simply go to the Awards section in your portal.
Can I use my awards in my marketing content?
Yes - if you have a Marketing Subscription with HomeViews, you have content rights to use your reviews, scores and award badges in your marketing content.
I think I've achieved an awards badge, but I can't see it in the portal.
HomeViews will update the awards every 6 months across the website to ensure fairness. We will check to see who has won the award badges at the half-way point of the year, and again at the beginning of the following year.
That means, if you haven't yet won the awards for your development by July, there is still 6 months of the year to continue to collect reviews.
