Find a simple explanation for the star rating and the individual category scores which are shown at the top of the Partner Portal.

The stars and the number below it (e.g. in this example 3+ stars and 3.53) is the star rating for the developments you have access to. When you first come into the dashboard, this will automatically be calculated for all the developments you have access to in the portal, but will change if you select anything in the filters at the top of page, such as particular developments, reviewer type, age or date range.
In brackets, you can see the number of reviews you have that make-up the scores (e.g. in this example there are 174 reviews). This number will change if you apply different filters, such as excluding particular developments, changing the date range or applying an age filter.
Note: The star rating is calculated by HomeViews using the individual scores from your residents across overall, facilities, design, location, value and management.
The individual category scores (e.g. facilities, design etc) are shown underneath, for the developments you have access to and is also dynamically calculated by applying different filters.
Note: A category score = (sum of category score given in each review) / (no. reviews).
You can always see what filters have been applied to calculate the scores by looking at the bottom of this chart section. In this example you can see that it is:
- "Filtered by: All" which means it includes all developments you have access to.
- "Developers: Example Developer" which means it is showing developments for only one developer.
- "Date range: All time" which means the score is calculated over all the time these developments have had reviews on HomeViews.
- "Resident type: All" which means that we have not filtered out any reviewer types in this score, e.g. owners or private tenants.
- "Age range: All" which means that we are including all reviewers and we are not filtering by a particular age category.
