As a site that values itself on transparency, at HomeViews we accept all reviews whether positive or negative, verified or unverified so long as they comply with our review guidelines. As a reviews platform, we are not a forum for a vocal minority and so cannot be biased with which reviews we choose to publish.
Although we do aim to verify as many reviews as possible, sometimes residents simply do not provide the details for this to be done, and so some reviews are left unverified. Unverified reviews are clearly shown as they do not have a green tick, but will appear amongst other reviews on your development page.
Unverified reviews count only 10% towards your ratings compared with the 100% provided by verified reviews, so if it were to be the case that a negative review came in, this would not greatly impact your score. Should you wish to support with the verification, please see here.
