There are certain reasons why a review will not be able to be published due to a breach in our review guidelines.
Here are the main reasons for not publishing a review:
- The review mentions a member of staff at the development in a negative light
- The review accuses the developer of something illegal/mentions legal proceedings
- The review contains a link
- The review contains swearing – in this case, we would star out any swear words and publish the review if it passes all other checks
If a review is flagged for any of these reasons, we would email the reviewer to let them know why their review cannot be published as it is.
We’ll highlight the changes that need to be made, and the reviewer will have the opportunity to change the review to fit our guidelines or rewrite the review.
